In 2002, our story began in a weathered tobacco barn that had stood since the days of Annie Oakley—its beams seasoned by time, its boards carrying the quiet memory of generations. We stepped into that space with a simple hope: to breathe new life into a piece of Darke County history and craft wines that honored the land beneath our feet.

The barn became our beginning. Its rough‑hewn timbers sheltered our first barrels, its history lending soul to our earliest vintages. And from the start, we chose a path rooted in people. Our “Shop, Buy, and Grow Local” philosophy wasn’t a slogan—it was a promise. A promise to the more than 15 growers whose hands tend the vines, whose early mornings and late harvests shape every bottle we make.
